Engaged: Denelle and Eric

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

I met Denelle and Eric for their engagement shoot at the Gordon Brother’s family farm just north of Pasco. The vineyards was amazing, as was the view of the Snake river. We then raced to downtown Kennewick to get in a few shots as the sun was setting. Eric and Denelle were really fun to work with and I’m looking forward to their wedding next month.

Denelle had a hard time keeping a straight face with me standing just a few feet in front of her with my 35mm lens.

Engaged: Jovelle and Roy

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Jovelle and Roy’s engagement session was really fun. Jovelle is all smiles and I really enjoyed working with her and Roy. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Engaged: Emily and Tyler

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

I drove out to Grandview, WA to photograph Emily and Tyler’s engagement photos. Tyler is a hops farmer, so we headed out to his family’s hop farm for some fun pictures. The more industrial looking shots were taken in their hop kiln–too cool! And guys, at last count I have 12 mosquito bites. You owe me a coffee!

A little off-camera flash action for a completely different kind of look:

And Emily’s totally unique and amazing engagement ring:

I can’t wait for Tyler and Emily’s wedding in August!

Engaged: Victoria and Ryan

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Victoria and Ryan met up with me Friday evening for an engagement shoot in downtown Kennewick. These two are so easy-going and fun–I know their wedding day is going to just gorgeous. And I have to thank them for all their patience with my incredible klutziness. I’m normally a bit klutzy, but it hit new highs during their shoot! All I can do is laugh at myself…I am what I am, klutziness and all! Anyhow, we got so many fun, creative shots at their engagement session that I had a difficult time picking which ones to share in this post.

And I have to post some outtakes–somebody at the park had their puppy off-leash and Victoria and Ryan were mauled. Don’t they look traumatized?

Thanks to you both for an awesome shoot!

Engaged: Tracy and Jim

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Tracy and Jim met up with me for their engagement session this past weekend–I really enjoyed working with them! They’re such a sweet couple and were game for anything at our shoot. Tracy and Jim will be getting married this July at Stone Ridge Event Center in Pasco, Washington…it’s going to be a gorgeous day and I’m honored to be a part of it!

Engaged: Marisol and Ray

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Marisol and Ray booked my for their July wedding last year and I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session since they booked. They are such a sweet couple and such sports about all the running around we did for their engagement session. I think you can really see how in love they are in these images.

(These next two images were taken during a lively discussion about whether or not a minivan is in their future. Marisol insists no. Anyone want to place a bet one way or another?)

Engaged: Morgan and Tyler

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

This past weekend I drove over the mountains to photograph Morgan and Tyler’s engagement portraits. The weather was touch and go, but we ended up with two hours of great weather (lots of Seattle sun breaks) and I scored a tour of the University of Washington campus! (Thanks, guys!)

Morgan and Tyler were wonderful to work with and I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in August!

Engaged: Carrie and Carl

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

Carrie and Carl’s shoot was scheduled on what turned out to be an incredibly stormy Friday afternoon. We drove east of the Tri-Cities towards Walla Walla to find some fun spots to shoot. It was pretty touch and go, but luckily for us the weather cleared up long enough for us to get a good shoot in. Carrie and Carl clearly adored each other and were so much fun! I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding in June.

Here area few of my favorite images from the session.

Kayla and Jake

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

Kayla and Jake picked the most gorgeous day for their engagement shoot
(luckily we got quite a bit of shooting in before the winds picked up).
The leaves were in the height of their fall glory and made the most
beautiful backdrop for our shoot. Kayla and Jake were incredibly fun to
work with. Playful, laid-back, and up for anything–what more can a photographer ask for?

I’m so excited to have the honor to photograph their wedding
in May!
