Photobooth is such a generic name. Appropriate, yes, but it lacks a punch. Anyhow, whatever it’s called, it’s good fun and I’m offering them as a part of my wedding services. Let me know if you want to have one at your wedding!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Ali Walker, a photographer who takes pictures of people. Little people, big people, young people, old people, and people in love. But mostly I photograph weddings. Why weddings? Because I adore them. Each wedding is a unique and amazing feat of design and, most importantly, a celebration that marks a new era in the life of two people. I am always so honored to be a part of what is really a very intimate day for my clients. My photography approach is both artistic and photojournalistic so that I can create a beautiful, honest story through my camera's viewfinder.
Originally from Bellevue, WA, I now call Walla Walla my home. I have two wee ones who are both funny and clever and a fat black cat with an unfortunate name. When I'm not busy behind my camera, I can be found reading Dwell magazine, listening to Regina Spektor, and dreaming of travel.
Ali Walker Photography is located in downtown Walla Walla just one block off Main Street and is available for wedding and portrait commissions nationwide. If you're planning a wedding or a lifestyle photography session and like what you see, please contact me so we can schedule a meeting and talk about your photography needs.

What a fabulous trip to Portland, OR! I spent great time with my kids, my sister and two of my closest friends. Lots of shopping was done. Snow was witnessed. Rest was had. Pages were read. Good times. I brought my camera, but only picked it up once to shoot my best friend’s dog, Dutch. Dutch is a two year old lab mix who my friend adopted from this shelter a few years ago. Isn’t the photography amazing? I want to take home Kara, but alas I’m not ready for a dog in my life yet. Boo.
Here’s the Dutch man. He’s the easy-going, silly, and extremely sweet. Coolest dog ever.

Hey all,
First all, thanks for all of the comments on my last post. Comments give me warm fuzzies. I always appreciate them!
I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays! I sure have. I can also say that I’m very excited for 2010–what is it about a new year and all of the promise it holds that gets me all jazzed? Speaking of 2010, I’m booking up quickly so if you’re looking for a photographer for your wedding and are drawn to my work, please drop me a line so we can talk more about your wedding day.
In other news, I’m going to be out of the office through January 2nd. I hope everyone has a wonderful new year. And please, stay safe!
Cheers!
Ali
Sara and Kane were married at the amazing Haiku Sugar Mill last month and I was honored that they chose to fly me to Maui to cover their event. This was my first destination wedding and it was a truly wonderful experience. Sara, Kane, and their families were so gracious and made me feel a part of the destination group.
The Mill is a really interesting venue historically-speaking. Located a bit upcountry near the town of Haiku, it was a sugar mill at one time many years ago and has since been converted into a spectacular wedding venue with ruined walls covered with creeping vines, Buddhist statue gardens, chandeliers and fountains. If you are ever planning a Hawaiian wedding, I can’t recommend this venue highly enough.
This post is a doozy! I hope you have a fast internet connection and a yummy beverage. Enjoy!

A few weeks ago I met up this gorgeous family for a portrait session. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
