Ali Walker Photography Blog bio picture

Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Ali Walker, a photographer who takes pictures of people. Little people, big people, young people, old people, and people in love. But mostly I photograph weddings. Why weddings? Because I adore them. Each wedding is a unique and amazing feat of design and, most importantly, a celebration that marks a new era in the life of two people. I am always so honored to be a part of what is really a very intimate day for my clients. My photography approach is both artistic and photojournalistic so that I can create a beautiful, honest story through my camera's viewfinder.

Originally from Bellevue, WA, I now call Walla Walla my home. I have two wee ones who are both funny and clever and a fat black cat with an unfortunate name. When I'm not busy behind my camera, I can be found reading Dwell magazine, listening to Regina Spektor, and dreaming of travel.

Ali Walker Photography is located in downtown Walla Walla just one block off Main Street and is available for wedding and portrait commissions nationwide. If you're planning a wedding or a lifestyle photography session and like what you see, please contact me so we can schedule a meeting and talk about your photography needs.

Bay Area Wedding Photographer - Great set of images. Excellent composition in the photo with Jamie standing against the garage and Doug in the foreground.

Kristen Honeycutt - Cuh-uuute! Love the location too.

Jennifer DeCesari - Rhode Island wedding photographer - I love these - great variety of locations and you've captured their love for each other so well!

Tony Cooper - Old train yards are a treasure trove, eh? :) Very nice imagery. Love the natural laughter going on, and the "follow us" type photography. Well done.

Mark - This is a fantastic set!! It looks like they had so much fun!!

Paul Von Rieter - Newport Beach Wedding Photographer - What an attractive couple and such an amazing set. You can just feel the love oozing out of these photos. Stunning.

Brian Mullins - Raleigh Wedding Photographer - I really enjoyed the toning and composition on this set of photos. Great angles and you can see you and your clients have a great relationship!

Rich Pizzuti - Great locations... I love the joy in her face throughout! Awesome work!

Andrea Lopez - LOVE these...their personalities come through in all! Great angles, colors, and composition! I love the one of Jamie against the building with only Doug's legs showing, but I think my favorite is of the two of them leaning against the train. That picture really resembles Jamie and Doug!

Patti Wallington - Love this engagement shoot! The railway area is awesome! Really well done!

Kim Cavanagh - Awesome work, love the location!

San Francisco Wedding Photographer, Rudi Halbright - Beautiful. Love your use of light, the variety of locations, and how connected the newly engaged couple are together.

Kuyler Lang - I am captivated by your compositions with this couple, particularly the ones where they are separated. The triad of the man, woman, and background work together as a strongly engaging...engagement photo.

Boundless Photos - Super set of images and really great use of the backgrounds.

Vincent - Great background and I like the temperature of the photos. Very consistent through out the set. Love the smile in #4. Good Job.

Monique Dykstra - Great engagement pics-- colourful, livelty and happy.

Photographick Studios - I love the railway shots! Get e-session! -Photographick Studios

David Galloway - Love these engagement shoot pictures, great stuff.
