Ali Walker Photography Blog bio picture

Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Ali Walker, a photographer who takes pictures of people. Little people, big people, young people, old people, and people in love. But mostly I photograph weddings. Why weddings? Because I adore them. Each wedding is a unique and amazing feat of design and, most importantly, a celebration that marks a new era in the life of two people. I am always so honored to be a part of what is really a very intimate day for my clients. My photography approach is both artistic and photojournalistic so that I can create a beautiful, honest story through my camera's viewfinder.

Originally from Bellevue, WA, I now call Walla Walla my home. I have two wee ones who are both funny and clever and a fat black cat with an unfortunate name. When I'm not busy behind my camera, I can be found reading Dwell magazine, listening to Regina Spektor, and dreaming of travel.

Ali Walker Photography is located in downtown Walla Walla just one block off Main Street and is available for wedding and portrait commissions nationwide. If you're planning a wedding or a lifestyle photography session and like what you see, please contact me so we can schedule a meeting and talk about your photography needs.

Claire.

My Claire. Yesterday the weather was amazing so we took a trip to Pioneer Park to play, visit the aviary, and soak up some winter sun. I took along my camera and upon downloading my snaps, I found this image compelling. This hair-do is her new favorite. She’s had a little French-looking bob for the past three years, but lately has decided that she wants to grow it long (this in addition to shunning all the cute Hanna Andersson clothes I bought for her this past fall). She is on her way to finding her own style at the ripe age of four.

Seattle Wedding Photographer Kirk Mastin - What a beautiful moment and a lovely little one!

Noah - Beautiful shot. I love the grain in the BW conversion too. It adds some drama and a classic look to the photo. Very well done.

buffalo wedding and Portrait photographers - That is an absolutely amazing image! It looks like it was shot on film and really captures that moment. A second before or after and it wouldn't have had the same effect.

Sunny - Vintage beauty. Don't you love just taking pictures because you can...not because you have to?

Rich Pizzuti - great portrait! the face of a child can say so much, beautiful photo!

Amy Hood - Adorable pic. We willingly accept all adorable shunned little girl or boy clothes ;-)
