Wedding: Kayla and Jake

Kayla and Jake were married at the end of May at Stone Ridge Event Center in Pasco, WA. These two are an incredibly fun and laid-back couple, which is good considering the weather we had (on-again, off-again storms)! Nothing phased these two and they were an absolute joy to work with. Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

Kayla’s sister getting a bit weepy at seeing her baby sister putting on the final touches of her bridal attire.

Kayla’s shoes were unconventional and totally fun!

Here Kayla is making a dash through the rain to see Jake for the first time before pictures.

The happy embrace after seeing each other for the first time.

The rings.

And the gorgeous details.

Kayla looked absolutely stunning!

The handsome groom.

A few of my favorites from their portrait session.

The guys looking cool.

The girls striking a pose.

The ringbearer was the funniest little guy–absolutely wild! Here is checking out the guests as they arrive.

Here Kayla takes a few breaths before walking down the aisle.

The processional of wee people. They did so well!

Kayla looks so lovely.

Jake as he watches Kayla make her way down the aisle to him.

A few from the late-evening ceremony. The light was spectacular.

The flower girls were so sweet.

Kayla has the most incredible way with kids. I really enjoyed watching her interact with all the little ones at the wedding.

The happy couple.

Kayla’s reaction to finding their car filled with balloons and rice. Tons of rice.

The first dance.

Congratulations to you both! Thank you for letting me a part of your beautiful day.

‘Tis the season of grads

We had a weekend full of graduation events. On Saturday, our nephew Jake Haworth graduated from Richland High School and there was a party held in his honor. Here he is surrounded by his two big brothers. These three are all incredible athletes!

Then tonight my son graduated from kindergarten. Here he is with his buddy, Alex.

And waiting in the wings for the ceremony.

Accepting his diploma.

We never had these sorts of intermediate graduation ceremonies when I was growing up and I thought perhaps it would be overkill, but it was really sweet and fun! Now I need to get busy planning some fun stuff to keep us entertained this summer.
