Engaged: Emily and Tyler

I drove out to Grandview, WA to photograph Emily and Tyler’s engagement photos. Tyler is a hops farmer, so we headed out to his family’s hop farm for some fun pictures. The more industrial looking shots were taken in their hop kiln–too cool! And guys, at last count I have 12 mosquito bites. You owe me a coffee!

A little off-camera flash action for a completely different kind of look:

And Emily’s totally unique and amazing engagement ring:

I can’t wait for Tyler and Emily’s wedding in August!

Wedding: Carrie and Carl

Carrie and Carl were married on Father’s Day at Stone Ridge Event center in Pasco, WA. It was a truly gorgeous day in every way. Carrie and Carl were so sweet and tender with each other throughout the day and I was honored to be there to capture some truly wonderful moments.

Getting ready:

Here Carrie and Carl see each other for the first time:

Some beautiful details.

The wedding party was so much fun!

Here are a few from the ceremony.

The rockin’ reception.

Congratulations to Carrie and Carl!

Bluegrass Festival

Last night we ventured out to the Sacajawea Bluegrass Festival just east of Pasco, WA for a little music and fun. Here are some shots from the evening. (I rented a super-fun-bendy lens for a wedding I am going to photograph tomorrow, so of course I had to test it out!)

There were quite a few golden retrievers there and someone was joking that they thought they might be handing them out at the gate.

These days all she does is dance, dance, dance.

Some fun with the 24mm TS-E!
